The second year of tests for rbWHIMS were conducted on three farm locations in Mississippi. The model, written in C++, featured new rules situated in an "object" oriented design. WHIMS makes recommendations on 12 insect pests. The Windows user interface was also introduced and tested during the year. Scouting techniques and sampling methods continued to be developed, refined, and evaluated for use in WHIMS.
