Not long after I was asked to make this presentation, the director of a state government agency in Arizona told me that the job of his department is to make sure that dissatisfaction is equitably distributed. I'm happy to report that the Phoenix classing office of the USDA's Agricultural Marketing Service doesn't subscribe to that philosophy. As a matter of fact, just the opposite is true for the 1991 season. Most growers I have talked to say they are very satisfied with the HVI grade results from this 1991 season. |
