Increased Damage to Cotton Foliage by Beet Armyworm from Application of Zinc Chelate and Ammonium Sulphate

ABSTRACT

Foliar applications of zinc as a chelate or sulphate and with ammonium sulphate to plots of cotton resulted in beet armyworm infestations with leaf damage that was 2.3 to 3.1 times greater than that in control plots.
