Karate 1E (Cyhalothrin) a new pyrethroid insecticide from ICI Americas has demonstrated significant efficacy in field trials on Heliothis spp. and the boll weevil, Anthonomus grandis (Boheman). Supporting data from both small plot and aerial EUP trials have shown that Karate 1E has the potential to become the foundation for insect control in cotton.
