Market Pricing Based on Fiber Properties

ABSTRACT

Research on the effects of cotton fiber properties on the market value of cotton has been underway for the past ten Years. Some of the major findings and implications of this research are presented and conclusions regarding their use in cotton marketing, and merchandising are offered. The need for market reporting on fiber properties to facilitate marketing management is also addressed.
