Highlights: Special Session on Cotton Quality Improvement

Frank X. Werber

ABSTRACT

Shortly after I arrived on the scene in the Agricultural Research Service (ARS), following my career in the textile industry, we decided that the Improvement of cotton quality was sufficiently important so that we covered all of the key angels to make it happen, both in the short and long term. And so I was particularly pleased to get the participation of a number of key experts from the cotton industry and, most important, from the textile industry in yesterday's session.
