All of us associated with the Journal of Cotton Science would like to dedicate this issue to Dr. Andrew “Andy” G. Jordan in recognition of his support and commitment to the Journal. Andy had the vision to recognize the need for a journal to publish current research related to cotton science, and through his leadership a peer-reviewed scientific journal was developed that is now celebrating its 10th anniversary. Under his guidance, the Journal of Cotton Science has grown into a well respected journal with international contributions.
We all wish Andy success in all of his future endeavors, and thank him for his remarkable contributions to the Journal.
