ABSTRACT

There is an increasing awareness, concern, and regulatory activity to protecting our environment. In the textile industry there are specific issues regarding metals, color in the effluent, water and energy consumption, and solid waste. Opportunities exist to minimize many of these concerns through proactive application and development programs.
