The Effect of Foliar Trigger on Cotton Production

Lawrence W. Parker, Peter L. Salk and Coy Jones

ABSTRACT

The effects of Foliar TRIGGRR on cotton production have been tested in over 200 experiments by university, USDA and private research cooperators, and by agricultural chemical distributors, since 1979. Foliar TRIGGRR increased cotton yields an average of 49 lbs of lint / acre when applied as a single application of 8 ounces / acre between pinhead square and full bloom (early to full bloom in California and Arizona). Foliar TRIGGRR increased cotton yields an average of 44 lbs of lint / acre when applied as four 2 ounce / acre applications beginning at pinhead square. Yield increases have averaged 69 lbs of lint / acre in distributor trials. Increased yields were associated with the formation of bigger bolls which contained both more lint and more seed.
