Mid-Season Production Management Practices: Insects

W.R. Lambert

ABSTRACT

During mid-season, insects can be a major limiting factor on yields and the cost of controlling them is a major portion of production costs in many areas. Control strategies must be based on a realistic appraisal of the fruit that will ultimately contribute to yield and an accurate assessment of pest infestations and their potential to cause damage.
