The Cotton Plant's Production Potential: How Can it Be Unlocked?

Thomas A. Kerby

ABSTRACT

Each year a few growers achieve yields which are double the average for their area. Frequently these growers do not know exactly what they did right. To determine if practices are limiting yields we must have a feeling for what the maximum yield potential is. Then we can discover limitations and determine economics of inputs.
