Variability in Root Morphology in Exotic Cottons

ABSTRACT

The differences in root morphology of several exotic cotton strains (T15, T25, T94, T141, T169, T184, T194, T212, T292, T466, T469, T488) as well as a number of commercial cultivars and strains ('Acala SJ5', 'Coker 5110', 'Deltapipe 16', Lubbock Dwarf, 'Paymaster 266', 'Stoneville 213', 'Tamcot 788') were characterized in young, dark grown seedlings.
