Insecticide Selection and Use Rates: Effects on Secondary Pests

ABSTRACT

The selection of insecticides for control of cotton insect pests is a difficult task because of short and long term consequences. Pyrethroid insecticides are the major component of our current arsenal of insecticides. The following is an overview of some of the short and long term considerations currently applicable to insecticide selection for cotton insect control.
