ABSTRACT

Particles of cotton dust were resuspended in an animal exposure system. A parallel stage impactor was used to obtain particles of 0.38 - 7.4µ AMMD and a vertical elutriator collected particles of 15µ or smaller. Evaluation of the endotoxin activity and bacterial content of the particles indicated uniform distribution of activities among particles in this size range.
