Cotton Dust Control: Wastehouses

Miller T. Jones, Jr.

ABSTRACT

There was a time when wastehouse operators had to work in air supplied hoods because dust control techniques had not been perfected. The benefits of a central waste collection system are examined. The vertical bale press can be enclosed well enough that duet levels can remain very low. The ultimate of an automatic horizontal bale press is described.
