Four different formulations of Pix were applied to Acala SJ-2 cotton in 1991 and 1992, and to two fields of Acala Maxxa cotton in 1993. Besides the conventional water solution of Pix, other formulations used in these experiments included a soluble powder, a 35% dry flowable, and a soluble tablet. All materials were applied at a rate of 0.5 pints per acre at early bloom. These treatments were compared to an untreated control.
