Agricultural systems in Guatemala include a variety of crops in a diversity of growing conditions. The use of malathion and methyl parathion for insect control are discussed, with emphasis on controlling cotton insect pests such as Bemisia sp., Heliothis spp., and Anthonomus grandis.
