The Rescuer 5000 manufactured by Consolidated Cotton Gin Co., Inc. in Lubbock, Tx. is a result of a combination of efforts. This multistage stick machine was developed by USDA Ginning Laboratory in Lubbock, Tx. Various field tests indicate this machine is superior to conventional methods of seed cotton cleaning. Consolidated was issued a license to manufacture this machine and has placed several units into operation on the High Plains of Texas.
