The Continental 930 Press

Charles A. Glover

ABSTRACT

E. Ritter and Company in Marked Tree, Arkansas, installed Continental Eagle's prototype 930 press in their new gin. This is the first production model press that has an 18" lower ram, computer controls and does not have doors. The press also has a hydraulic tramper and pusher. Our experience with the press is very positive. There have been some changes during the season, and some we will make during the off season, but the press has worked well for us.
