Why "No-Till" ? Maybe my curiosity had a little to do with it. I know my involvement in soil and water conservation had an impact. The erosion of soil on precision leveled land is well within tolerance of the Soil Conservation Service guidelines, but I wondered if I couldn't reduce it even more. Certainly the "bottom line" (net profit) was another incentive to try no-till. The bottom line has to be considered in all my decisions on the farm. I hope with no-till I can improve my bottom line.
