Redball Conservation Spray Hoods for Cultivation with Roundup Herbicide

Steve Claussen

ABSTRACT

One of the primary goals of a cotton grower is the production of high quality cotton, that meets the consumer's expectations, while allowing the grower to realize a reasonable profit. One very important aspect of high quality cotton production is in-season weed control. Traditionally, growers have turned to mechanical cultivation as a means for this weed control. Today, however, a new but proven alternative exists which provides excellent weed control while offering many other benefits. This alternative is the combination of Redball Conservation Spray Hoods from Custom Ag Products and Roundup herbicide by Monsanto. Together they enable a grower to conserve moisture, soil, time and money.
