ABSTRACT
An in-furrow cotton seedling disease fungicide test was conducted on the Northeast Louisiana University layton Farm. Treatments consisted of an untreated control, Terraclor Super-X, Ridomil 2E, Start (WP and G), and SM-9. All treatments were applied at the manufacturers recommended rates in the seed furrow at planting. Significantly more plants per foot of row were present in the SM-9 treatment compared to the control at 14 days after planting. However, at 42 days plant stands in all fungicide treatments were significantly greater than the control. No significant differences were observed for seed cotton yields. However, seed cotton yield was increased 510lb/A with the addition of SM-9.
