Case IH is announcing a newly developed Burr Extractor attachment for the 1800 Cotton Stripper. The Burr Extractor can be ordered factory installed or as an attachment retrofitable to all previously manufactured 1800 Cotton Harvesters to improve the harvested cotton turnout by up to 8 percent. This gives the advantages of reduced hauling expense, less ginning cost, and improved cotton grades. Many innovative design features are incorporated into this new concept and location of a cleaner. The new concept is unique to Stripper mounted extractors due to its mounting location. The mounting location offers many advantages over conventional platform mounted extractors.
