ABSTRACT

This paper summarizes research on fluidized bed gasification of cotton gin trash (CGT) that produces a low calorific value gas and activated carbon (AC). Isotherm adsorption curves are presented comparing commercial AC with CGT AC. Results of operational parameters of the gasifier on the production and quality of CGT AC are resented.
