ABSTRACT
The Southeastern Boll Weevil Eradication Program (SEBWEP) presently is active in Florida and portions of South Carolina, Alabama and Georgia. The current program is an expansion of earlier programs in Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. This paper will characterize the SEBWEP and present problems and needs from an Extension Specialist's perspective. My purpose is to discuss activities that may involve "non-program" entomologists, and offer observations and/or advice on dealing with them.
