Operating and Managing Roller Gins

Charles C. Owen

ABSTRACT

The first goal of a cotton gin must be to make a profit. To do so, the gin must provide high quality service for a reasonable fee or competition will reduce your volume to an unprofitable level. A gin manager must see that customers are happy, keep the gin in top-notch condition, and keep costs in line to be successful.
