Seasonal Changes in Cotton Aphid Susceptibility to Insecticides in West Texas Cotton

Charles T. Allen, Warren L. Multer and Victor Lucero

ABSTRACT

This paper presents evidence that cotton aphid populations are changing rapidly in areas of west Texas. Populations tend to be harder to control as the season progresses and revert to greater susceptibility during winter. Differences in aphid susceptibility to insecticides were apparent in 1989.
