Technology Transfer: Cotton Ginning Consortium Update

Andrew G. Jordan

ABSTRACT

Technology transfer has long been a high priority item for the cotton industry. Adoption of new technology takes many forms, and this paper discusses the background leading to the concept and formation of a consortium of ginners, researchers, machinery builders and others. The consortium's mission is to accelerate innovation. A brief status report on consortium projects is also presented.
