Quality Needs from the Viewpoint of International Spinners

Sebastian Otto

ABSTRACT

The Spinners Committee of the International Textile Manufacturers Federation was formed to improve communications between spinners and cotton-producing countries of the world. Finer fibers, reduced short fiber content, higher strength and improved elongation will be important properties in the future. Availability of HVI test data will aid mills in better utilizing cotton.
