Fifty-nine manuscripts representing all nine disciplines were submitted in 2015. A summary of the action taken on these manuscripts by discipline is provided in Table 1. The acceptance rate for manuscripts for which a decision has been made is 37.3%. In 2015, 59 manuscripts were published in the Journal of Cotton Science. Distribution of published manuscripts by discipline was as follows: Agronomy and Soils – 6; Arthropod Management – 0; Breeding and Genetics – 5; Economics and Marketing – 1; Engineering and Ginning – 37; Molecular Biology and Physiology – 1; Plant Pathology and Nematology – 1; Textile Technology – 2; Weed Science – 5; and Editorial Notes – 1.
