Participating Gin/Warehouse (PG/W) TIE/STRAPPING Form Page

Commercial packaging firms with strapping in an Experimental Test Program (ETP) must report to the JCIBPC before the materials are placed at participating gins. The form below may be used to submit the required information to the JCIBPC.

To insure each company's straps are counted as 'patterns placed' when the JCIBPC reviews each ETP, PG/W forms should be submitted prior to delivering the material to participating gins. Commercial packaging firms have until December 14, 2018 to submit completed PG/W forms for of its participating gins. This does not prevent a firm with a ETP from counting materials scheduled for delivery after December 14 as placed provided completed PG/W forms were submitted prior to the reporting deadline.

The following information is required for all PG/W forms:
(1) the type of bag the participating gin will use with the commercial packing firm's ETP Strap;
(2) geographic and contact information about the participating gin and gin manager (including the gin manager's email address); and
(3) similar contact information about warehouse(s) and warehouse manager(s) where the gin will send the bales strapped with ETP materials.


The table below lists: the commercial packaging firm's with strap ETPs, a brief description of each ETP strap, the number of patterns of straps approved by the JCIBPC for each ETP, and the tare weight of the strap in the ETP.
