Last week the Department of Agriculture announced the recipients and funding levels for the Agricultural Trade Promotion Program (ATP). This program is one of the components of the Trump Administration’s trade assistance package in response to the retaliatory tariffs that have been imposed on U.S. agricultural commodities including cotton. Reece Langley, Vice President of Washington Operations for the National Cotton Council, joins us to talk about funding the cotton industry received through this program. Langley also shares an update on another trade assistance package, the Market Facilitation Program (MFP).
