As of April 24th, the latest USDA report that tracks cotton plantings are standing at 13 percent complete.

As of April 24th, the latest USDA report that tracks cotton plantings are standing at 13 percent complete.  Gary Adams, Vice President of Economics and Policy Analysis for the National Cotton Council, says that is slightly behind the five year average pace which would be 16 percent this time of year.

Adams says the most planting progress has been made in California and Arizona.
