This week’s Cotton Newsline is 4 cuts.  All cuts are Michael Rochelle, assistant director of member services for the National Cotton Council.

Suggested Introduction 1:
The Producer Information Exchange Program, or PIE, exposes producers to innovative production practices other than their own.  Michael Rochelle, assistant director of member services for the National Cotton Council, says the PIE tours are designed to build a consensus among growers regarding the different issues across the cotton belt.

Suggested Introduction 2:
According to Rochelle, the first tour this season will include the Mid-South welcoming producers from the Southeast.

Rochelle says producers should contact their producer interest organization if interested in participating in future tours.

Rochelle believes Cotton Foundation projects offer many unique opportunities for producers.
