A new Food & Drug Administration or FDA rule was issued and took effect on September 8.  Harrison Ashley, vice president of ginner services for the National Cotton Council says this rule requires food facilities registered with the FDA under the existing Bioterrorism Act to now submit a report via FDA’s new electronic registry.

Suggested introduction cut 2:
Ashley says failure to file this report can result in civil and criminal penalties.
