As producers plant their crop this spring they need to pay close attention to the weeds in their fields. Jason Bond, a weed scientist for Mississippi State University, says he has confirmed findings of Italian Ryegrass resistant to glyphosate herbicide.

Bond says they are trying to determine how the resistant seeds are spreading.
