The Senate Finance Committee met late yesterday to mark-up their portion of the 2007 Farm Bill. According to Robbie Minnich, Senior Government Relations Representative for the National Cotton Council, this proposed tax bill would add several billion dollars to the farm bill.
Suggested introduction cut 2:
Minnich says this tax bill frees up money for use by the Agriculture Committee, which is expected to meet October 23 to draft its farm bill.
