The latest round of WTO talks took place in Geneva last week and cotton is still being singled out.  According to Dr. Mark Lange, President and CEO of the National Cotton Council, this attack on U.S. cotton began at the negotiations in Cancun.

Suggested introduction cut 2:
Lange says a group of Cotton Belt Senators have written a letter to the U.S. Trade Representative’s office urging U.S. negotiators to reject the cotton provisions in the draft WTO text released in late July.
