The National Cotton Council joined several other commodity and livestock groups in sending a letter to the Chairman and Ranking member of the House and Senate Ag Committees as well as the Chairman and Ranking member of the House and Senate Subcommittees on Conservation.

This week’s Washington Agenda is 3 cuts.  All cuts are Robbie Minnich (pronounced Men-ic), Senior Government Relations Representative for the National Cotton Council.

Suggested introduction cut 1:
The National Cotton Council joined several other commodity and livestock groups in sending a letter to the Chairman and Ranking member of the House and Senate Ag Committees as well as the Chairman and Ranking member of the House and Senate Subcommittees on Conservation. According to Robbie Minnich, Senior Government Relations Representative for the Council, the main focus of the letter is what the groups saw in common that they would like to see in the Farm Bill.

The letter also noted support for the Conservation Reserve Program and voluntary conservation programs that provide incentives for grasslands and wetlands.
