Endure, is a new textile finish developed to prolong the life and look of cotton products for the home.

This week’s Cotton Newsline is 3 cuts.  All cuts are Dr. Bill Rearick, Director of Finishing Research at Cotton Incorporated, Cary, North Carolina.

Suggested introduction cut 1:
Traditional wrinkle-free or easy-care sheeting and bedding products have a finish that significantly weakens fabric strength and makes it susceptible to color loss and tearing.Endure, is a new textile finish developed to prolong the life and look of cotton products for the home.  According to Dr. Bill Rearick, Director of Finishing Research at Cotton Incorporated this new technology has a number of advantages.

Suggested introduction cut 2:
According to Rearick the endure technology controls shrinkage and allows sheets and bedding to maintain their original shape and size over time.

Suggested introduction cut 3:
Rearick says once new technology is developed it’s handed over to an implementation team to take it to the market place.
