This week’s Cotton Newsline is 3 cuts. All cuts are Dr. Gary Adams, Vice-President of Economics and Policy Analysis for the National Cotton Council.

With cotton prices relatively similar to last year but corn prices and soybean prices up, Dr. Gary Adams, Vice-President of Economics and Policy Analysis for the National Cotton Council, says expectations are for cotton acres to shift to grains.
Suggested introduction cut 2:
Adams says the projection for Upland cotton acreage is about twelve point eight million acres.
Suggested introduction cut 3:
Extra-Long Staple or ELS cotton is estimated to have an increase to three hundred and sixty thousand acres for 2007 according to Adams.
