The recently developed HAR-VAC vacuum cotton harvester manufactured by the Vac-Tron Equipment Company of Okahumpka, Florida has cotton producers keenly interested in this new method of harvesting cotton.

The recently developed HAR-VAC vacuum cotton harvester manufactured by the Vac-Tron Equipment Company of Okahumpka (O-KAH-HUMP-KA), Florida has cotton producers keenly interested in this new method of harvesting cotton. Marty Gallaher, Sales Representative for the company says this new Vacuum type header could cut harvesting costs in half.

Suggested introduction cut 2:

The company has a single row prototype that a producer built and tested in 2005.  Gallaher says they are hoping research will prove this vacuum header helps improve fiber quality.
