The Farm Service Agency has announced changes to programs that were authorized by the budget reconciliation act of 2005.

This week’s Cotton Newsline is 2 cuts.  All cuts are Robbie Minnich (pronounced Men-ic), Senior Government Relations Representative for the National Cotton Council.

The Farm Service Agency has announced changes to programs that were authorized by the budget reconciliation act of 2005.  According to Robbie Minnich, Senior Government Relations Representative for the National Cotton Council, these changes are the formal announcement of what USDA will be doing based on the legislation.

Suggested introduction cut 2:

Minnich says this Act, signed by President Bush on February eighth, repeals the authority for USDA to issue upland cotton Step 2 payments for domestic users and exporters of cotton.
