ABSTRACT

The immune response to cotton dust exposure was evaluated by drawing blood from guinea pigs at monthly intervals during a twelve month period of exposure to cotton dust. Sera were evaluated for the major protein fractions and for specific antibodies to cotton dust antigens. The leukocyte composition of the blood was also evaluated. Differences were observed in all the above parameters between the exposed and control animals.
