Temperature Methods for Monitoring Cotton Development

D.F. Wanjura and J.R. Supak

ABSTRACT

Temperature influences the reaction rate of chemical processes. Growth processes in plants such as cotton are dependent on biochemical processes and, thus, temperature has been shown to be highly correlated with plant growth rates. Timely information about crop development is an essential ingredient for making good production management decisions.
