Plant growth regulator usage in commercial cotton production has increased as plant monitoring systems and research have been developed that emphasize product activity at individual growth phases. A system of plant growth regulation using the growth retardant mepiquat-chloride (PIX), and PGR-IV, a multi-entity hormone product, was initiated to evaluate compatibility and/or interactions. Yield increases were indicated when products were used in sequential applications. |
