Utilizing Bacillus thuringiensis Formulations plus Ovicides to Manage Populations Cycles of the Heliothine Complex

D. R. Johnson, G. E. Studebaker, A. Jordan

ABSTRACT

The effectiveness of Bacillus thuringiensis formulations when used against Heliothine populations was best when used in combination with ovicides such as Larvin. The overall data was not consistent with the performance of the combination less under higher population levels. The efficacy was also dependent on application being made at egg hatch. The combination has adequate effectiveness to manage Heliothine populations of low to moderate levels.
