Ahmed A. Hamed Amin

ABSTRACT

Development and reproductive potential of the black cutworm, Agrotis ipsilon (Hufnagle) were examined at 15, 20, 25 and 30°C.

The incubation period ranged from 2 to 8.1 days, whereas the duration of the larval stage varied from 33.8 to 54.1 days. adult longevity varied from 6 to 14 days. Net reproductive rate (Ro), mean generation time (T), intrinsic rate of increase (r(m)) of the pest were calculated.
