J. McD. Stewart, J. F. Wendel, L. A. Craven

ABSTRACT

A germplasm collection trip was undertaken during May and June, 1993. The objectives of the expedition were (1) to collect germplasm of two known species of Gossypium from the Kimberley region that had not been collected, (2) collect additional accessions of other Kimberley species of Gossypium to better determine their distribution and taxonomic circumscription, (3) explore additional areas of the Kimberleys for Gossypium, (4) collect arid zone Gossypium species from the extremes of their ranges. All objectives were met. (Continued)
