Environmental Control for Cotton Classing Offices

ABSTRACT

The objective of work reported in this paper was to develop a more effective temperature, humidity, and dust control system for USDA, AMS Cotton Classing Offices. Three classing offices were visited and data were taken to evaluate effectiveness of existing HVAC and dust control systems. Results of temperature, relative humidity and absolute humidity fluctuations are presented. In addition, dust concentration and dust characteristics data are provided.
